The brothers at Alnmouth Friary live simply and rely entirely on the generosity of others to support their life and ministry. As a community, we do not draw a regular income or charge for our hospitality, but instead depend on voluntary donations from guests and supporters.
These contributions help to cover the day-to-day costs of maintaining the Friary, including food, utilities, upkeep of the building and grounds, and the welcome offered to all who come for rest, retreat, or prayer. Every gift, whether large or small, is received with gratitude and is essential to sustaining the life of the community and its work of hospitality and prayer.
By supporting the Friary in this way, guests become part of the community’s shared life, enabling the brothers to continue offering a place of peace, prayer, and welcome to all who visit.

Donations made using PayPal will automatically be paid to the SSF Gift Aid bank account. In the Notes section please state where you would like your donation to go (Hilfield, Alnmouth, Glasshampton, Plaistow, Belfast, Birmingham CSF, Birmingham SSF, Canterbury, First Order, CSF or SSF, Southwark). If you would like to Gift Aid your donation please complete and submit the Gift Aid Form.
